—Who benefits from research (educational research)? Research exists across many disciplines, however, this discussion deals with results gleaned from research that focused on the challenges of parenting, research that provided improved educational practices as well as  research related to the parent and teacher role in children’s learning and development from conception onward.  That is, who benefits when research becomes “practice”– is passed to the general public via media, journals, books, brochures and magazines for individuals to disentangle and utilize?
